Encouraging change within our habits and mindset to clothing and fashion through mending workshops, collaboration and how-to’s.

about untied

Mending extends the life of clothing and the process of the craft strengthens the connection between our garments and ourselves. We hope to initiate a conversation about the culture of clothing and the waste left behind.

We host creative mending and garment care workshops, where we teach different methods of darning and repairing clothes and textiles. Occasionally, we do workshops in collaboration with businesses and like-minded organisations that want to offer mending skills to their network.

our Workshops

In Untied’s fun and relaxing mending and darning workshops you will learn a variety of hand stitching techniques that offer creative possibilities for repairing and decorating your clothes and household textiles. Mending and darning are great life skills which can save you money, save your clothes and reduce the amount of clothing that ends up in landfill.
